Overview of the Walk

This coastal walk follows the Shonan coastline, one of the most scenic areas near Tokyo.
On clear days, you can enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Fuji across the ocean, combined with sandy beaches, local cafés, and iconic Japanese scenery.
• Total distance: approx. 5 km
• Walking time: 1.5–2.5 hours (without long breaks)
• Best season: Autumn to Winter (clear air = better Mt. Fuji views)
• Best time of day:Early morning,Late afternoon (sunset & golden light)
• Access: Enoden Line (local train)
Inamuragasaki cape

Inamuragasaki is one of the best viewpoints in Kamakura for seeing Mt. Fuji.
This small cape is famous for its open view of the ocean, waves crashing on rocks, and perfect Mt. Fuji alignment on clear days.
It’s a popular spot for photographers, surfers, and locals enjoying sunsets.
Nearest station: Inamuragasaki Station (Enoden Line)
Shichirigahama Beach


From Inamuragasaki, walk east along the coast toward Shichirigahama.
This long sandy beach is known for its relaxed atmosphere, stylish cafés, and wide-open ocean views.
On a clear day, Mt. Fuji appears right in front of you across the bay — a classic postcard view.
Nearest station: Shichirigahama Station
Kamakura High School Front



This spot is world-famous thanks to the anime “Slam Dunk.”
The level crossing in front of Kamakura High School offers a unique view of the ocean, passing Enoden trains, and Mt. Fuji in the distance.
Nearest station: Kamakura-kokomae Station
Enoshima Coast & Enoshima Island

Continue walking toward Enoshima, a small island connected by a bridge.
The area is lively and offers street food, shrines, coastal paths, and panoramic views.
Nearest station: Enoshima Station / Katase-Enoshima Station
