Hogonin Temple was founded in 1461 and is the branch temple of Tenryuji Temple.
It is famous for its beautiful garden .
On this day, we enjoyed matcha green tea and Japanese sweets while viewing the beautiful garden!

Tenryuji Temple was founded in 1343 as a temple of the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism.
It is registered as a World Heritage site.
The Japanese garden with a pond is beautiful.

It is a very surrealistic atmosphere as you enter the tall bamboo grove.

Nomiya Shrine, Shrine of Love Stories

This shrine is mentioned in the Tale of Genji written in 1008, which is called the world’s oldest novel.
Nowadays, it is constantly filled with people praying for the fulfillment of their love and for the birth of a child.

At Arashiyama Station of Arashiyama Electric Railway, there are many objects with kimono patterns called “Kimono Forest.
It is very fun to see the various patterns.

We went to Kamo river in west of Kyoto.
It’s very popular for its nice view and romantic side walk.

It’s one of the most scenic places in Kyoto.

It’s the world heritage temple founded 778.
It’s built on the cliff and have a nice view of Kyoto.
The front traditional shopping street is full of stores and restaurants.

The shrine is said to have been founded in 711, and is the main shrine of the 32,000 Inari shrines enshrined throughout the country.
The shrine is famous for its countless beautiful torii gates.
It is said that there are about 10,000 torii gates in the entire Fushimi Inari shrine.
