We were greeted by a tuna doll and the mascot of the Toyosu Market!
We showed my passport for ID confirmation
and checked the reservation.
You must register as like your passport.
You will be given a number tip.
You will then be shown the meeting time again.

Tour Departure

The tour departs at 5:30 led by market guide.
The waiting room is on the second floor, but you can also see the tuna auction from the aisle, although it is a little far.
If you just want to come here, you don’t need a reservation.
We walked further to the viewing area on the first floor.
From the tuna auction viewing area, you can watch the tuna auction.
You can see lively auction going on many times.
Tuna tails

The tuna tails are cut to check the color, quality, and freshness of the tuna.
From the viewing area, you can also see the stock space on the other side.
Tsukiji market
Namiyoke Shrine

This shrine was founded 1657 to pray for the safety of the construction of Tsukiji area.
Tsukiji area was a coast before 1657.
The Great Edo Fire of 1657 burned down Edo.
During that time, the reclamation project was repeatedly hindered by accidents caused by the waves.
One day, many people saw a bright white fireball on the reclaimed sea.
People wondered about it and built this Namiyoshi Shrine to pray to the fireball.
After that, no accidents occurred and the Tsukiji landfill was completed.
Even today, people come here to pray for safety at sea and safety in their homes.
Tsukiji Outside Market

Tsukiji Outside Market is the kitchen of Tokyo and is usually visited by Tokyoites.
You can enjoy the lively atmosphere of a traditional market.
There are more than 460 stores selling fish, produce, meat, dried foods, seasonings, cooking utensils, restaurants, etc., and the market is always crowded with people.
You should visit here in the morning hours.
Business hours are from 5:00 to 14:00.
Closed on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Morning Sushi

We ate morning Sushi for breakfast!
It’s a great experience!!
How was it?
Why don’t you try next chance?
