Fushimi, the south of Kyoto
I went to Fushimi, south of Kyoto.
It takes about 17 minutes from Kyoto Station to Chushojima Station, and a 5-minute walk brings you to a row of sake breweries.
Sightseeing boat
There is a sightseeing boat called “Jujikkoku-bune” which is reminiscent of the old days.
And you can enjoy the autumn leaves too!
It takes about 40 minutes and costs 1,200 yen.
Gekkeikan sake museum
Just next to the boat is the Gekkeikan Okura Memorial Museum.
Gekkeikan is one of the most popular sake brewery in Japan and we can enjoy the process of making sake here.
Admission is 600 yen and includes a sake tasting.
Take care for drinking too much because fresh sake is very tasty!
How about experiencing Kyoto in a new way?
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
