Hokokuji Temple
A temple of the Rinzai sect, founded in 1334.

It is known as a temple of bamboo grove with 2,000 bamboo trees in the precincts.
We enjoyed Japanese tea and sweets in the bamboo grove.
Tsuruoka Hachimangu Shrine

This shrine was built in 1063.
The shrine was revered by samurai as the guardian deity of the community.
There is a Inari shrine inside which has many Torii gates!
Yabusame (horseback archery), an important Shogunate ritual, is still practiced today.
Lunch
We ate lunch orthodox Japanese Italian food at the beautiful restaurant.
The Great Buddha of Kamakura

This is the Great Buddha of Kotokuin temple.
This bronze statue stands about 13 m tall and is the second largest Buddha statue in Japan after Nara one.
The Daibutsuden building was swept away by the great tsunami of 1498, but the Great Buddha survived.
Enoshima Shrine

This shrine was built in 552 to worship Bensaiten, the god of arts and entertainment.
The main approach is a traditional shopping street with restaurants and shops.
It’s very lively all the time.
Iwaya Cave

The Iwaya Cave is located on the Pacific Ocean side of Enoshima Island.
It is said that a god descended here in 528.
Clap your hands in front of the statue of the dragon god and it roars.
How was it?
Why don’t you try next chance?
I’m Nobu , one heart enjoy together!!
