‘KINPUSENJI temple in YOSHINO , Nara Japan’
I visited KINPUSENJI temple in YOSHINO, NARA prefecture on my way to the cherry blossom mountain in YOSHINO.
It’s founded late 7th century by ENNOGYOJA who is the founder of the SHUGENDO, the fusion of Shinto and Buddhism.
He is a real person has the mysterious power which can control the demons.
He is depicted in the official history book , has many supernatural stories all over Japan.
You can see TORII gate ( Shinto) and temple building ( Buddhism) at the same precinct.
This belief has been performing over 1000 years in the mountain area of all over Japan.
I came across the cute SGUGENDO practitioner in the precinct.
The whole area is surrounded by the nature , very relaxing.
The air is very fresh because it’s in the mountain.
