Hi I’m Nobu, I like traveling overseas and in Japan, visited 28 countries!
I’m a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter of English for 11 years.
For the people who are interested in and planning trip to Japan ,
I show you hidden local information which you have never seen and heard of through books and ordinary site!
You will find unexpected fun through my articles!
Golden pavilion

This is a Rinzai school temple built in 1398, and its official name is Rokuonji.( deer garden temple. Deer is the symbol animal of Buddhism which appeared Buddha myth.)
The gold leaf on the surface of the temple is very beautiful .
It’s a good combination with the surrounding nature full of greenery and the reflection in the pond in front of the temple.
Tea ceremony

We enjoyed a casual tea ceremony in the tea house.
It’s a nice experience to feel Japanese culture.
Tenryuji Temple

Tenryuji Temple was founded in 1343 as a temple of the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism.
It is registered as a World Heritage site.
The Japanese garden with a pond is beautiful.
Bamboo forest

The bamboo forest can be reached from the exit at the back of Tenryuji Temple.
Bamboos are about 15 to 20 m in height .
They grow densely on both sides, creating a mysterious atmosphere.
Nomiya Shrine, Shrine of Love Stories

This shrine is mentioned in the Tale of Genji written in 1008, which is called the world’s oldest novel.
Nowadays, it is constantly filled with people praying for the fulfillment of their love and for the birth of a child.
Lunch

We ate lunch at the Japanese restaurant with small garden.
Japanese Wagyu meat is yummy!
The decoration of Hina dolls and Samurai armor are beautiful!
Kimono Forest

At Randen Arashiyama Station, there is an objet d’art called “Kimono Forest” made of kimono fabric.
It is a good place to take pictures.
Arashiyama Monkey Park

There is a small shrine across the Togetsu Bridge, which is the entrance to the park.
The entrance fee is 600 yen and 300 yen for children.
After entering the entrance, a 20-minute walk along a mountain path leads to the Monkey Park.
There are 30-40 Japanese monkeys roaming around freely, paying no attention to humans.
You can buy food for 100 yen to feed the monkeys.
Fushimi Inari Shrine

The shrine is said to have been founded in 711, and is the main shrine of the 32,000 Inari shrines enshrined throughout the country.
The shrine is famous for its countless beautiful torii gates.
It is said that there are about 10,000 torii gates in the entire Fushimi Inari Taisha.
How was it?
Why don’t you try next chance?
I’m Nobu , one heart enjoy together!!
