Kyoto 1-Day Tour, Kimono Forest, Tenryuji temple, Bamboo forest, Lunch, Togetsu bridge, Monkey park, Minamiza theatre, Fushimi Inari Shrine!!!
Hi I’m Nobu, I like traveling overseas and in Japan, visited 26 countries!
I’m a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter of English for 10 years.
For the people who are interested in and planning trip to Japan ,
I show you hidden local information which you have never seen and heard of through books and ordinary site!
You will find unexpected fun through my articles!
Our itinerary is below!!
Kimono Forest
At Randen Arashiyama Station, there is an objet d’art called “Kimono Forest” made of kimono fabric.
It is a good place to take pictures.
Tenryuji Temple
Tenryuji Temple was founded in 1343 as a temple of the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism.
It is registered as a World Heritage site.
The Japanese garden with a pond is beautiful.
Bamboo forest
The bamboo forest can be reached from the exit at the back of Tenryuji Temple.
Bamboos are about 15 to 20 m in height .
They grow densely on both sides, creating a mysterious atmosphere.
Lunch
We had lunch at quiet restaurant.
Udon noodles taste nice!
Togetsu Bridge and river
This 155m bridge is the symbol of Arashiyama.
The atmosphere of the Katsura River and surrounding mountains changes with the seasons.
It’s making a beautiful scenery any time of year you visit.
Arashiyama Monkey Park
There is a small shrine across the Togetsu Bridge, which is the entrance to the park.
The entrance fee is 600 yen and 300 yen for children.
After entering the entrance, a 20-minute walk along a mountain path leads to the Monkey Park.
There are 30-40 Japanese monkeys roaming around freely, paying no attention to humans.
You can buy food for 100 yen to feed the monkeys.
Minami-za Theater
The Minami-za Theater, where kabuki performances are held in Kyoto.
The building is a traditional style!
Fushimi Inari Shrine
Founded 711.
5 minutes by train from Kyoto Station.
Famous for its 10,000 red torii gates.
This is the setting for the Hollywood movie Memory of a Geisha.
Omokaru-ishi (stone that weighs heavy or light?)
This is a stone that you lift up after making a wish, and if you feel light, your wish will be granted.
If you feel heavy, you need more effort to accomplish your wish come true!
What do you think?
Why don’t you come next time?
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
