This is a Rinzai school temple built in 1398, and its official name is Rokuonji.( deer garden temple. Deer is the symbol animal of Buddhism which appeared Buddha myth.)

The gold leaf on the surface of the temple is very beautiful .

It’s a good combination with the surrounding nature full of greenery and the reflection in the pond in front of the temple.

We struck the bell of the temple to offer prayer!

We enjoyed a casual tea ceremony in the tea house.

It’s a nice experience to feel Japanese culture.

Umemiya taisha shrine

Umemiya taisha shrine is founded 8th century.

It’s dedicated God of Sake, Japanese alcohol.

But now it’s popular for its seasonal flowers.

We ate ramen lunch at the local restaurant!

Fushimi Inari Shrine

Fushimi Inari shrine

The shrine is said to have been founded in 711, and is the main shrine of the 32,000 Inari shrines enshrined throughout the country.

The shrine is famous for its countless beautiful red torii gates.


It is said that there are about 10,000 torii gates in the entire Fushimi Inari Taisha.

Yasaka Pagoda

Yasaka pagoda

Yasaka-no-to is a five-story pagoda in Gion founded AD589.

It matches the traditional townscape very well.

Kyoto Starbucks

Kyoto Starbucks

There is a traditional Japanese style Starbucks on the approach of Kiyomizu temple.

It is a traditional Japanese house turned into a Starbucks.

The atmosphere is very exotic and fun.

Shaved ice

We took a break at the shaved ice cafe.

It’s a good way to cool down out body!

It’s the world heritage temple founded 778.

It’s built on the cliff and have a nice view of Kyoto.

The front traditional shopping street is full of stores and restaurants.

We tried black room walk through challenge !

Hanamikoji Street in Gion

Hanamikoji Gion street

It’s located between Shijo Street and Kenninji Temple.

Around 17:00-18:00 in the evening, geishas and maikos go out for a party.
