Arakurayama Sengen Shrine
It’s founded 705.
Deity is Mt.Fuji.
Mt.Fuji and the five-story pagoda can be photographed together.
FUJIQ highland roller coasters park
FUJIQ highland is a popular roller coaster park.
The entrance fee is free, we pay each ride.
There are 39 rides.
Oishi Park, Lake Kawaguchiko
This is a place where you can take pictures of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt.Fuji.
There are shops and you can buy fruits, ice cream and drinks.
Taking photo with Mt.Fuji is must do thing here!
Shiraito waterfall
It’s 20m tall and 150m wide waterfall from Mt.Fuji.
There is no river up there, water is gashing out between the lava rocks!
Lunch Yakisoba( grilled noodle)
We ate Yakisoba( grilled noodle) at the local restaurant.
Yummy!
Narusawa Ice Cave
There are many caves at the foot of Mt.Fuji.
Narusawa Ice Cave has several meters of ice all year round, and in the Edo period (1603-1867), the local lord of this area presented ice as a summer gift to the shogun of Edo (now Tokyo).
Suicide forest
It’s notorious as a’ suicide forest’ but surrounding nature is very beautiful!
The inside forest is extremely quiet and peaceful.
It’s a bit eerie here though…
Mt.Fuji near Ice cave
We could see Mt.Fuji from Ice cave to Oshinohakkai !
It’s beautiful!
We stopped and took photos!
Oshinohakkai
This village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There are 8 clear ponds with a snow water from Mt.Fuji.
We can take Mt.Fuji water for free here.
If you have an empty bottle, fill it up for free.
If you don’t have one, you can buy bottle by 150 yen.
In Oshinohakkai, the walkway along the stream are very refreshing.
You can try and feel the local quiet atmosphere.
