Famous for its 10,000 red torii gates.

Next stop is Tenryuji Temple, a World Heritage Site.

This temple was founded in 1343 by the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism.

The tranquil garden is impressive.

We went to Monkey Park in Arashiyama.

It is located on a hill overlooking the city of Kyoto and is home to about 120 Japanese monkeys.

Humans are allowed to enter the cages and feed the monkeys.

7:Yasaka Pagoda

Yasaka no to pagoda

Yasaka-no-to is a five-story pagoda in Gion, which matches the traditional townscape very well.

I went to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a World Heritage site.

The traditional shopping street leading up to the entrance is like a throwback to the old days.
