How to enjoy Hakone, Mt.Fuji in one day!
My friend and I fully enjoyed Hakone and Mt. Fuji in one day!
Here is an itinerary on how we toured two famous tourist attractions close to Tokyo.
Owakudani
We picked her up at 9:00 in Hakone hotel.
Owakudani, Hakone is a volcanic zone, but even now it is still actively emitting sulfurous smoke.
And the sound of steam can be heard constantly, which is very powerful.
The 63.3°C water that boils from here is supplied to the hot springs in Hakone Onsen resort.
Black Eggs
One of the specialties of Owakudani is black eggs boiled in this hot water.
The black color is the result of a reaction between the components of the hot water and the eggshells.
They are very nourishing, and it is said that eating one will extend your life by 7 years.
My friend ate 4 eggs, so she will live 7 x 4 = 28 years longer!
Hakone Shrine
Founded in 757.
Since ancient times, faith in Mt. Hakone has been deep, and the shrine was worshipped by the samurai of the Kamakura period (1185-1333).
The contrast between the red torii gate on the shore of Lake Ashi and Mt.Fuji is very beautiful and iconic view of Lake Ashi.
Pirate Boat
My friend enjoyed a 30-minute voyage from Moto-Hakone Port to the next port on a pirate ship, a specialty of Lake Ashinoko.
Lake Ashi Skyline
We drove along the Lake Ashi Skyline to Mt.Fuji.
The view of Mt.Fuji was very powerful and beautiful because the weather was fine.
I think my friend was satisfied with the view!
CoCoichi Curry
After getting off the Lake Ashi Skyline, we went to CoCoichi Curry to eat my friend’s favorite curry with pork cutlet.
It was very tasty.
Mt.Fuji view from the front of the restaurant was very powerful and beautiful!
Oshinohakkai Village
We went to Oshino-Hachikai Village, a World Heritage site on Mt. Fuji, with 8 clear ponds.
The clear ponds water is from Mt.Fuji.
The snow on Mt.Fuji took 70 years to reach the ground and then took years to erupt above the ground.
Sake
At the end of the tour, my friends had hot sake and I had warm coffee at the Oshino Hakkaisan Cafe!
Thank you for joining my tour!!
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
