Higashi Honganji temple
I went to Higashi honganji temple in Kyoto.
It’s 5 minutes walk from Kyoto station.
It’s the jodoshinshu school Buddhism temple.
Was founded 1321, the width 76m, depth 58m , height 38m .
The biggest wooden building Nara Todaiji temple is width 57m , depth 50m, height 48m.
So the height is shorter than Todaiji temple but area is bigger than it .
Higashi Honganji temple is also one of the biggest temple buildings in Japan.
I recommend you go inside the temple buildings.
There are 2 buildings Mieidou ( bigger one) and Amidadou.
If you sit in the huge hall, you will feel the silence and relief from daily business.
I think you can relax while your trip in Japan.
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
