1 day trip to the northern part of Kyoto from canter of Kyoto!
Amanohashidate, one of the three most scenic spots in Japan, and the Boat houses of Ine, both registered as Japanese Heritage sites!Enjoy the atmosphere of old Japan!!!
Hi I’m Nobu, I like traveling overseas and in Japan every year , visited 26 countries!
I’m a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter of English for 10 years.
For the people who are interested in and planning trip to Japan ,
I show you hidden local information which you have never seen and heard of through books and ordinary site!
You will find unexpected fun through my articles!
Our itinerary is below !
Amanohashidate( 3.6km sand bar with 8000 pain trees)
Amanohashidate is a 3.6km long sandbar at the mouth of the bay that separates Miyazu Bay from the inland Aso Sea .
It is one of the three most scenic spots in Japan.( others are Miyajima in Hiroshima, Matsushima in Miyagi)
It is also registered as a Japanese Heritage site.
There are about 8,000 pine trees of various sizes, creating a beautiful contrast between the green of the pine trees, the white sand, and the blue of the sea.
Overlooking through under your legs
Mt.Monju overlooking Amanohashidate,
has an observatory and a mini amusement park that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
It’s very popular to overlook Amanohashidate through our under lags!
From the foot of the mountain, you can take a ropeway up to the top. This is also fun.
We tried mini Ferris wheel on the top!!
Access
It takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes by car.
The driving is very easy and nice view on the way.
Boathouses in Ine
A 30 minute drive from Amanohashidate takes you to the boathouse at Ine.
A boathouse is a row of houses by the sea, with about 230 houses creating a nostalgic atmosphere as if you were back in old Japan.
Boathouses were originally built to pull boats out of the sea and protect them from wind, rain.
While the first floor was used to store boats, the second floor was once used as a drying area for nets and a workshop.
The main residence is the main house across the street from the boathouse.
In Ine town, there are a sightseeing boat, several restaurants, and cafés where visitors can relax and soak up the atmosphere for half a day.
I recommend you relax here because it’s an ordinary fisherman’s residence place.
It’s very quiet here!
How was it?
Why don’t you try next time?
I’m Nobu , one heart enjoy together!!
