Hokokuji Temple
A temple of the Rinzai sect, founded in 1334.
It is known as a temple of bamboo grove with 2,000 bamboo trees in the precincts.
Japanese matcha tea
We enjoyed Japanese matcha tea and sweets in the bamboo grove.
The scenery is calm, quiet and beautiful!
Tsuruoka Hachimangu Shrine
This shrine was built in 1063.
The shrine was revered by samurai as the guardian deity of the community.
There is a Inari shrine inside which has many Torii gates!
Shopping mall enjoy
We went to a Japanese shopping mall to buy Japanese souvenirs!!
We bought a lot of stuff!
