We did new year walking tour in Shibuya, Harajuku!

1: Hachiko faithful dog

Hachiko faithful dog in Shibuya

Hachiko is an Akita dog which is natural monument dog of Japan.

He lived 1923-1935.

Hachiko waited his master at this place 10 years after the master passed away.

This story is covered by Hollywood movie HACHI starring by Richard Gere.

Now it’s a meeting place for people!

2: Shibuya crossing

Shibuya crossing

The bossiest crossing in the world.

At most 3000 people cross here on 1 signal.

On Halloween day, big sports events day, and new year’s eve many people gather here naturally.

3: Miyashita park

Miyashita Park

It’s a city park with sand valley ball field, skateboard course, bouldering wall,many stores, cafes and restaurants.

It’s along the JR train line from Shibuta to Harajuku station.

The biggest shrine in Tokyo.

3 million people gather this shrine during 1-3rd January!

4:Takeshita street

Young girl’s Mecca for chilling out with friends.

There are numerous shops, restaurants!

The price is relatively cheap because main consumers are low teen girls .

There is a popular cotton candy store of rainbow colors!

Children enjoyed big cotton candy so much!


Also we visited Anaguma cafe which is only bear hand’s appears from the wall!

5: Meiji shrine

Meiji shrine in Harajuku


The biggest shrine in Tokyo.

3 million people gather this shrine during 1-3rd January!

We could see the ice sculptures exhibition on the approach.

6: Omotesando street

We walk down Omotesando street.

Omotesando advertisement

This is a tree lined beautiful street with many world brand’s buildings.

We can see fantastic 3D advertisement on the street!

Finally we saw a pineapple shape building!
