Bread and Espresso and Arashiyama Garden
This cafe is famous for its delicious bread and coffee.
The 210-year-old former residence of the Kobayashi family, designated as a cultural asset by Kyoto Prefecture.
It is used as a café now.
In the cafe a bread workshop and a cafe are built in a large plot of land with a garden.
The traditional Japanese atmosphere and the modern atmosphere are perfectly blended.
Arashiyama Yusai-tei
The 150-year-old Chidori Ryokan, a charming former Japanese inn, is now open to the public as an art gallery for dye artist Yusai Okuda.
It is also known as the place where Yasunari Kawabata, the Nobel Prize winner for literature, wrote “The Sound of Mountains.
The special note is the view of Arashiyama from each room.
The symmetry of the natural beauty of the four seasons reflected in the round windows, desks, and water surface (water mirror) is exceptionally beautiful!
Visitors can tour the gallery and workshop of Yusai’s unique dyeing technique “Yume Koro-zome” and experience scarf dyeing (reservation required).
The autumn leaves were beautiful that day, and the reflections in each room are so beautiful that one forgets the time pass by!!
How was it?
Why don’t you try next time?
I’m Nobu , one heart enjoy together!!
