We spent two days during the cherry blossom season enjoying Mt.Fuji and costal villages around IZU peninsula!!
Day-1
Arakurayama Sengen Shrine
It’s founded 705.
Deity is Mt.Fuji.
Mt.Fuji and the five-story pagoda can be photographed together.
Oishi Park, Lake Kawaguchiko
This is a place where you can take pictures of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt.Fuji.
There are shops and you can buy fruits, ice cream and drinks.
Shiraito waterfall
It’s 20m tall and 150m wide waterfall from Mt.Fuji.
There is no river up there, water is gashing out between the lava rocks!
Fujinomiya sengen shrine
It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The history is said it’s founded 2th century, the deity is Mt.Fuji.
We could see Mt.Fuji from the shrine this day!!
We drove to IZU peninsula after Fujinomiya sengen shrine.
Koganezaki cape
It’s a geographical site popular for its yellowish soil.
The sunset time is very beautiful here.
We could see Mt.Fuji from here too!
Dougashima
Dougashima is rugged seashore area popular for it’s beautiful view and caves .
We enjoyed the sun set view from there!!
