It became an imperial villa in 1870 and was opened as a metropolitan park in 1946.
Bordering Tokyo Bay, all the ponds here are filled with seawater.
Visitors can enjoy matcha green tea and Japanese sweets at a teahouse in Nakanoshima.
The weather was nice and warm, so we sat on the balcony.
2: Odaiba Seaside Park
Formerly a lumberyard, the park opened in 1975.
It has an artificial sandy beach, an observatory, boating facilities, and a marine house with showers and lockers.
It is a popular place for relaxation close to the city center.
A bronze replica of the Statue of Liberty was installed in the park from April 29, 1998 to May 9, 1999 as part of the “France Year in Japan” project.
And it was so welcomed that a bronze replica officially approved by the French government , was installed in 2000.
Night views of the Rainbow Bridge and central Tokyo can be seen.
It is often used as a filming location for Japanese TV dramas.
3: Sensoji Temple, Asakusa
Sensoji Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo, was founded in 628.
The red lanterns of the Kaminarimon gate have become a symbol of Tokyo.
The traditional Nakamise shopping street has many stores where you can buy all kinds of Japanese souvenirs.
The Nakamise shopping street and the sightseeing guide rickshaw service, preserve the atmosphere of Tokyo in the old days.
