Lake Yamanaka
I went to Lake Yamanaka, one of the five lakes of Fuji.
Snow at Lake Yamanaka
Lake Yamanaka freezes over in winter.
Recently there have been some warm days, so only about half of the lake is frozen.
Especially the east side of Lake Yamanaka is still frozen.
The snow that fell recently was still on the ground, and there were people out for a walk.
Dogs were with their master’s families.
Children’s song
In Japan, there is a children’s song about snow that children love.
The lyrics say, “When it keeps snowing, dogs run around in the garden with joy, and cats curl up in the warm heater in the room!’.
As the lyrics the poodles was exited and having fun, frolicking in the snow.
The Shiba Inu was looking a friend dumbfounded !
