Hi I’m Nobu, I like traveling overseas and in Japan, visited 28 countries!

For the people who are interested in and planning trip to Japan ,
I show you hidden local information which you have never seen and heard of through books and ordinary site!
You will find unexpected fun through my articles!
Our itinerary is below!
Shinkyo (Bridge of the Gods)
Built in 766.
It’s the entrance to Nikko.
The legend said on 766 a monk was trying to climb Mt.Nantai but blocked by the river.
He prayed to God and two snakes appeared and they transformed as a bridge.
Then the monk could pass the river.
Rinnoji Temple
Founded in 766.
Tendai Buddhism sect.
The name Rinnoji was granted by the Emperor.
We can see the beautiful Buddha statues up close.
Toshogu Shrine
This is the place where enshrined the first Tokugawa shogunate Shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa .
Built in 1617 by Ieyasu’s grandson.
Eight buildings are national treasures and 34 are important cultural properties.
Lunch
Lunch at a local restaurant by Lake Chuzenji.
Nikko Futaarasan Shrine
This is a shrine whose deity is Mt. Nantai2,486m , which rises behind it.
The history of the shrine dates back to prehistoric times, as remains have been found from a branch shrine in the mountain.
It’s indicating that the shrine was worshipped from that time.
Yudaki Waterfall
This waterfall flows down from the southern end of Lake Yunoko.
The waterfall, which is 70 meters high and 25 meters wide at its widest point, could be seen from directly below.
Lake Yunoko
A quiet and beautiful lake with the smell of sulfur from the hot springs.
It is very quiet.
The view is really beautiful!
Ex-British ambassador’s villa
This place was a summer house of British ambassador in 19th century to escape from hot humid Tokyo summer.
We can drink English tea in a quiet atmosphere!
How was it?
Why don’t you try next time?
I’m Nobu , one heart enjoy together!!
