in hot humid summer Tokyo
‘Sustainable lifestyle in Tokyo, cool down 11℃ in hot humid summer Tokyo-2’
I visited NIPPARA limestone cave in OKUTAMA, west part of Tokyo.
This limestone cave is one of the 9 popular limestone caves in Japan.
It was a training place of practitioners of SHUGENDO religion, which is the fusion of Shintoism and Buddhism.
I found outside of this cave is a beautiful stream along the rocky valley.
The air is refreshing and stream is very pure and beautiful.
It’s located OKUTAMA, 2 hours from Tokyo, 30 minutes bus .
The entrance fee is 800 yen( 8 dollars).
It’s a bit far from Tokyo but nice way to refresh from hot humid Tokyo summer. If you visit Tokyo in summer, check it out!
