Hi I’m Nobu, I like traveling overseas and in Japan, visited 26 countries!
I’m a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter of English for 10 years.
For the people who are interested in and planning trip to Japan ,
I show you hidden local information which you have never seen and heard of through books and ordinary site!
You will find unexpected fun through my articles!
Omoide Yokocho( memory alley )
It is known as Yakitori Yokocho, as well as the former common name Pissing Yokocho( alley)
It has its roots in the black market that was established around 1946.
It still remains as it was at that time.
You feel like you are back in time!!
Shibuya Crossing
The busiest crossing in the world.
At times, 3,000 people cross at a single traffic light.
We posed in the middle of the intersection!
Meiji Shrine
The largest shrine in Tokyo.
Surrounded by a large forest of 10,000 trees, it is hard to believe that it is in Tokyo.
We could see Japanese traditional wedding at the ground!
Inner garden
The inner garden is the present from Emperor Meiji to the empress.
The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful.
Takeshita Street
A gathering place for young people.
Colorful cotton candy , strawberry candy, sweet crape are very popular.
Togo shrine
The quiet shrine just 2 minutes from Takeshita street.
It’s a huge contrast with laud Takeshita street.
Sensoji Temple, Asakusa
Sensoji Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo, was founded in 628.
The red lanterns of the Kaminarimon gate have become a symbol of Tokyo.
The traditional Nakamise shopping street has many stores where you can buy all kinds of Japanese souvenirs.
The Nakamise shopping street and the sightseeing guide rickshaw service, preserve the atmosphere of Tokyo in the old days.
Sumida River Walk.
You can either walk to the Asakusa side or the Tokyo Sky Tree side while enjoying the view from the Sumida River
Shinjuku Gyoen
We went to Shinjuku Gyoen to see cherry blossoms!
This area was originally given by the famous samurai Tokugawa Ieyasu to his retainer samurai in 1591 as a residence for him.
In 1906, it was opened as Shinjuku Gyoen, an imperial park.
There are various types of gardens, including,
1:Japanese-style garden
2:English-style garden
3:French-style garden
4:Green house
There are 1500 cherry trees and it’s one of the most popular Hanami ( flowers viewing) spots in Tokyo!
How was it ?
Why don’t you try next chance?
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
