Kimono experience
The first this is kimono experience.
We dress up kimono and hair done!!
Nomiya Shrine, Shrine of Love Stories
This shrine is mentioned in the Tale of Genji written in 1008, which is called the world’s oldest novel.
Nowadays, it is constantly filled with people praying for the fulfillment of their love and for the birth of a child.
Bamboo Grove Path
The path through the bamboo grove is a short walk from Nomiya Shrine.
It is a very surrealistic atmosphere as you enter the tall bamboo grove.
Kimonos are a good match.
Tenryuji Temple
Tenryuji Temple was founded in 1343 as a temple of the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism.
It is registered as a World Heritage site.
The Japanese garden with a pond is beautiful.
Ramen lunch
We took ramen lunch at nearby Ramen restaurant from Tenryuji temple.

Kimono forest
At Randen Arashiyama Station, there is an objet d’art called “Kimono Forest” made of kimono fabric.
It is a good place to take pictures!
Randen train
Randen is the local tram inside Kyoto city.
It has a very nostalgic atmosphere!
Minami-za Theater
The Minami-za Theater, where kabuki performances are held in Kyoto.
The building is traditional style!
Hanamikoji Street in Gion
It’s located between Shijo Street and Kenninji Temple.
Around 17:00-18:00 in the evening, geishas and maikos go out for a party.
You might see them here.
Yasui Konpira Shrine
Built in 1275.
It is said to cut off bad karma and bring good karma.
There is a stone with a hole in the ground covered with a talisman, and there were many people going through it.
Yasaka Pagoda
Yasaka-no-to is a five-story pagoda in Gion, which matches the traditional townscape very well.
Starbucks in Kyoto
We went to Starbucks in Kyoto!

Fushimi Inari Shrine

5 minutes by train from Kyoto Station.

If you walk in the Torii gate, there is a 2 way paths of lot of gates.
