You will find unexpected fun through my articles!
Rikugien garden
Rikugien garden was created in 1695 by Yanagisawa Yoshiyasu, a servant of the 5th shogun, Tokugawa Tsunayoshi.
He built a villa on land given to him by Tsunayoshi.
The garden has a large spring with an island in the middle surrounded by trees.
And it reflects the scenic beauty of Waka-no-Ura in Kishu (present-day Wakayama Prefecture) and the scenic beauty of the area as 88 borders in waka poems.
Furukawa garden
Furukawa garden was the residence of Mutsu Munemitsu in the Meiji ( 1868-1912)era.
His second son was adopted by the Furukawa family and the garden became the Furukawa Garden.
This garden is characterized by an attractive harmony of Japanese and Western styles.
A Western-style building on the higher ground, a rose garden on the slope, and a Japanese garden on the lower ground with pond.
It’s taking advantage of the difference in elevation.
It is famous for the many roses that bloom around the Western-style house in May.
In November, visitors can enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves in the Japanese garden!!
We enjoyed them this day!!
How was it?
Why don’t you try next chance?
I’m Nobu , one heart enjoy together!!
