Climate
It’s very hot and humid.
The average temperature: 25°C to 35°C (77°F to 95°F)!
It’s mostly sunny, but sudden rain and typhoons possible
Clothing
It’s better to wear light, breathable clothing (T-shirts, shorts, sundresses, etc.)
Also hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended.
You should bring comfortable sandals or sneakers.
It’s better to have rain gears.(folding umbrella or raincoat. You can buy them at 100 yen shops and convenience stores easily.)

Festivals
Jingu gaien fireworks festival
It takes place in Jingu gaien, in Shibuya!
10th August .
Okutama fireworks festival.
The mountain side of Tokyo.
10th August.
Koenji Awa Odori
Traditional dance festival from Tokushima held in Koenji.
24,25th August
Beaches
There are nice beaches 1 hour away from Tokyo.
It’s a good chance to enjoy summer here!
Enoshima
It’s 1 hour 10 minutes from center of Tokyo.
There are east enoshima beach and west enoshima beach.
If the weather is nice you can see Mt.Fuji from west Enoshima beach!
Zushi beach
It’s also 1 hour from Tokyo.
It’s surrounded by the bay, the waves are very calm.
Precautions
You should take precautions against heatstroke (frequent hydration, intake of salt)
You had better be mindful of the temperature difference between air-conditioned indoor spaces and the hot outdoors.
You check for updates on transportation delays or cancellations in case of typhoons are coming.
