‘DAY TRIP TO SNOW RESORT FROM TOKYO’
YUZAWA area in NIGATA prefecture is a popular snow resort area which has 12 snow resorts with ONSEN, some of them operate ski World Cup .
Most of them are accessible within 2 hours from Tokyo.
I visited GALA YUZAWA snow resort by SHINKANSEN.
GALA YUZAWA station is the SHINKANSEN ( bullet train) station during winter season from 12th December to 5th May.
There are direct trains from Tokyo , the fastest one is only 74 minutes.
We can do day trip to snow resorts of this area using this train easily.
If you get off the gate , that is a snow resort ticket center and the ski and board rental area.
Also the gondola station is the same floor in the station.
