‘HOLIDAY OF HOLIDAY,STAY ENOSHIMA’
Many people often ask me where to stay in Tokyo while visiting Japan.
I answer big terminal towns like SHIBUYA, SHINJUKU, UENO , IKEBUKURO,ASAKUSA…
But I sometimes recommend ENOSHIMA to stay , the beach town 1 hour from center of Tokyo.
The atmosphere is completely different from center of Tokyo, very casual,relaxing and laid-back ! You can walk this town naked from the waist up, me always do so!

There are several reasonable guest houses in ENOSHIMA STATION( ENODEN LINE) , KATASE-ENOSHIMA STATION ( ODAKYU LINE) .
Also there are several Onsen Ryokans ( Japanese traditional hotel ) in the island too!
Lastly I also recommend
KANAKURA PRINCE HOTEL, between ENOSHIMA and KAMAKURA, has a nice view of the ocean.
There are aquarium, spa resort, famous shrine, caves , etc.. many things to see .
Of course there are ENOSHIMA EAST and WEST BEACHES too!
