Climate

Climate in January Japan

It’s cold and dry in Tokyo with an average temperature around 5-10 ℃(40-50℉), humidity is 30-40% very dry.

It’s good to prepare for the chill with layers, coats, gloves, and hats.

On the Pacific Ocean side, sunny days prevail in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, Kobe, Hiroshima.

On the other hand, Kanazawa and Nagano on the Sea of Japan side have colder weather with more clouds and snow.
