‘Roses at HARBOR VIEW PARK in Yokohama’
I visited MINATONO MIERU OKA PARK ( Harbor view park) in Yokohama to see roses blooming.
It’s located on the hill of the cliff in Yokohama where we can see the Yokohama harbor and the Pacific Ocean.
There are 2200 roses in the rose garden.
There are 3 sections,
1: Aroma garden
2: Roses and cascade garden
3:English rose garden.
This garden is date back to the late 19th century when Japan started to trade with western countries.
There were English and French army’s houses.
It’s opened as a city park on 1962.
