‘TOKYO autumn footage’
I visited INOKASHIRA park , KICHIJOJI in Tokyo.
This is one of the urban parks in Tokyo with big green areas, pond , small waterfowl area , small zoo , row boats and Ghibli museum!
It’s only 10 minutes walk from JR KICHIJOJI station but whole area is very calm and quiet.
People enjoy rowing and pedaling boat on the pond watching cherry blossoms in spring and colorful leaves in autumn.
There are many benches and some cute cafes in the park , nice places to forget busy life of everyday.
There is a BEZAITEN temple in the pond which is dedicated to the female God of art and music .
As for Ghibli museum , it’s located in the south part of the park .
I recommend you get off JR KICHIJOJI station and walk through INOKASHIRA park to Ghibli museum 15 minutes. ( many tourists get off JR MITAKA station but I don’t recommend it. You should walk through ordinarily town .)You feel the urban nature of Tokyo and people’s life here !!
