Shinjuku gyoen park is located 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku station .
It was a SAMURAI residence in feudal age, converted as imperial botanical garden 1879. Now it’s open for public. There are 1300 cherry trees, very famous for HANAMI( cherry blossom viewing) .
There are 2 Japanese gardens , French garden , English garden and greenhouse too.
