Why don’t you see Tokyo Skytree over the pond, Shinobazu pond?
I’m Nobu, I like traveling overseas and in Japan, visited 25 countries. I’ve got the license of the certificate English guide in Japan for 8 years.
I show you hidden Japan which you have never seen and heard of!
Shinobazu pond of Ueno
I went to Shinobazu Pond.
Shinobazuno Pond is located next to the famous Ueno Park.
The pond is divided into three parts
The boat pond for boating, the lotus pond where lotus flowers bloom in July, and the cormorant pond that belongs to Ueno Park.
The most enjoyable part is of course the boat pond.
This is where many rowboats, cycle boats, and swan boats float.
From the walkway on the west side of the pond, we can see Tokyo Sky Tree over the Shinobazuno Pond.
It is very attractive because we feel the open atmosphere.
The Shinobazuno Pond is also home to many wild birds.
It is said that there are about 10,000 of them.
Yaezakura (double-flowered cherry trees) are planted along the walkway, providing a nice contrast to the pond.
Boat pond
Low boats on the pond cost 500 yen( 5 dollars) for 30 minutes, cycle boats 700 yen( 7 dollars) , and swan boats 800 yen( 8 dollars).
Why don’t you enjoy the open atmosphere and the spectacular view of Tokyo Skytree and Shinobazu pond?
It’s good to feel such feeling in busy crowded Tokyo!
It’s 5 minutes walk from Ueno station.
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!
