‘100 cherry blossom spots in Japan, at YOSHINO in Nara ‘
I climbed YOSHINO mountain in Nara prefecture 2 hours from Osaka.
It’s very popular for Japanese people by its 30000 cherry blossoms from the bottom of the mountain to the top .
It blooms from late March to the middle of April.
This area is famous from 7th century, many emperors visited here to enjoy cherry blossoms.
If you arrive YOSHINO station, there are 2 ways to climb up by bus and on foot 3 hours.
I chose walking. It’s a bit tough work but I really enjoyed the beautiful views and many temples and shrines along the way .
You can see the last cherry blossom on the top in middle of April.
