Kamogawa ( river)delta
I went to the Kamo River Delta.
The Kamo River Delta is shaped like the Greek letter Δ (delta) where the Kamo and Takano Rivers meet.
Visitors can enjoy the seasonal scenery along the Kamo River.
Stepping stones
It is famous for stepping stones in the shape of turtles and birds, and is especially crowded with families and groups of college students on holidays.
It often appears in dramas and animations, and some people visit the area as a holy place pilgrimage.
I love to rent a bicycle around Kyoto Station and cycle from the Kamo River at 7jo near Kyoto Station to this Kamo River delta.
There are promenades on both sides of the Kamo River, and it is very pleasant to ride leisurely and enjoy the breeze.
There are always people enjoying picnics at the Kamo River Delta.
Visitors can cross the Kamo River Delta from the Kamo and Koya Rivers by using stepping stones.
There are also a number of turtle shaped stones alongside the stepping stones, which is very humorous.
We recommend cycling from Kyoto Station to the Kamo River Delta and having a leisurely picnic while looking at the Kamo Ohashi Bridge in front of you.
Experience the nature in Kyoto, the traditional heart of Japan .
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
