Nikko Futarasan shrine
I went to Nikko Futaarasan Shrine.
This is a shrine whose deity is Mt. Nantai 2,486m , which rises behind it.
The history of the shrine dates back to prehistoric times, as remains have been found from a branch shrine in the mountain.
It’s indicating that the shrine was worshipped from that time.
The shrine building was founded in 767, and since then it has been a place for ascetics of Shugendo to practice their practices.
Mt.Nantai Chuzenji lake
There is a trailhead to Mt. Nantai at the back of the shrine grounds, and on this day, there were many hikers there.
The beautiful lake Chuzenji and the dynamic Mt.Nantai.
The spiritual energy of the mountain seems to flow through the grounds of Futaarasan Shrine, passing the torii gate, and into Lake Chuzenji.
Why don’t you feel the spiritual energy that the Japanese people felt from ancient times?
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
