‘KYOTO KIYOMIZU temple autumn’
I visited KIYOMIZU temple in Kyoto.
KIYOMIZU temple was founded AD778 , it’s one of the 17 UNESCO world heritage sites in Kyoto.
It’s located on the hill of east mountain of Kyoto.
You should walk up 30 minutes from the HANKYU train KAWARAMACHI station. On the way you can see many traditional and beautiful footages of GION district of Japan .
The 3 years renovation is over on 3rd December. Now you can see the whole shape of temple roof and veranda finally.
There are many colorful leaves of MOMIJI( Japanese maple) in surrounding area.
It’s one of the 71 colorful leaves spots in Kyoto.
The air is very fresh here because it’s on the high up from the city area. Also you can see the mysterious sunset from the west gate .
