Fushimi Inari grand shrine



Founded: AD 711
A famous Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of rice and prosperity.
It is best known for its thousands of red torii gates forming scenic trails up the mountain.
Walking through them is a unique spiritual experience.
The guardian are foxes to help rice harvest.

Horinji 5 storied pagoda


Founded: AD589
This five-story pagoda is one of Kyoto’s most iconic landmarks.
It stands in the historic Higashiyama district and creates a perfect backdrop for traditional streets.
People enjoy taking photos here with pagoda!
Sannei zaka( slope)



Established: 8th century temple route
A charming stone-paved slope leading to Kiyomizu temple.
It is lined with traditional shops, cafes, and souvenir stores, offering a glimpse into old Kyoto.
Kiyomizu temple



Founded: AD778
One of Kyoto’s most popular temples and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Its wooden stage offers breathtaking views over the city, especially during cherry blossom and autumn seasons.
Yasaka shrine


Founded: AD656
A major Shinto shrine in the Gion district, famous for hosting the Gion Festival.
It is beautifully illuminated at night and is a lively cultural hub.
Maruyama park

Established: 1886
Kyoto’s oldest public park, popular for cherry blossom viewing (hanami).
The large weeping cherry tree is especially famous in spring.
Hanamikoji street




Established: Developed during the Edo period (1603–1868)
A historic street in Gion where visitors may catch a glimpse of geiko (geisha) and maiko.
It preserves the elegant atmosphere of traditional Kyoto.
Minamiza traditional theatre

Founded: 1610
One of Japan’s oldest kabuki theaters.
It continues to host traditional performances, offering visitors a chance to experience classic Japanese performing arts.
Nishiki Tenjin shrine


Founded: 1003 AD
Located at the entrance of Nishiki Market, this shrine is dedicated to the god of studying.
It is a popular stop for students and tourists exploring the lively market area.
