‘100 cherry blossom spots in Japan, at KONKAIKOMYOJI temple in Kyoto’
I visited KONKAIKOMYOJI temple in Kyoto.
It’s founded 1175 by the founder of JODO Buddha school.
It’s located in the north east of Kyoto and has a huge precinct with big halls and 3 storied pagoda.
It’s not a popular temple so very quiet and tranquil.
The temple is on the top of the hill, we can see the wide view of Kyoto.
There are many cherry trees at the front approach stairs, very beautiful.
I found the hand wash is decorated by flowers and cute duck toys.
It’s also very beautiful in colorful leaves season in autumn.
