‘BUNNY shrine in Kyoto’
I came across the bunny shrine in Kyoto on the Easter Day!
This is OKAZAKI shrine in the east part of Kyoto.
It’s founded AD794 when the capital of Japan moved from NARA to Kyoto.
This area was the habitat of wild rabbits in old time , the servants of this shrine are rabbits, not like lions like other shrines.
They are thought as the symbol of
prolific and prosperity.
You can see many cute bunny statues and ornaments in the shrine.
I saw many women come and pray here.
If you want to meet up cute bunnies and pray for a baby ,check out here!!
You will experience the simple belief and prayer of SHINTOISM.
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
