These are open all year round and are very crowded because this is the best time of the year.
Tourists from overseas will be surprised at the number of people.

January 2 is the start of the New Year’s sales of Lucky bag(fukubukuro).
Inside the bags are items worth 3-4 times the normal price.
Convenience stores, supermarkets, department stores, clothing stores, goods stores and all other retailers offer their own lucky bag(fukubukuro).
Nature
You can hike Mt.Takao during this period.
The cable car and lift are on operation.
