Hi I’m Nobu, I like traveling overseas and in Japan, visited 30 countries!
I’m a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter of English for 12 years.
For the people who are interested in and planning trip to Japan ,
I show you hidden local information which you have never seen and heard of through books and ordinary site!
You will find unexpected fun through my articles!
The itinerary is as below!
Nara Park

It was established as a city park in 1880.
It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Japan with many national treasures and world heritage sites.
These are Kofukuji Temple, Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and Nara National Museum.
Deer

Deer are the messengers of the Kasuga Taisha Shrine.
About 1,400 deer greeted us.
They are friendly and bow to ask for deer clacker.
Todaiji Temple

Founded in 728, Todaiji Temple is the world’s largest wooden structure, 46.7 m high.
Although the current building is 5/8 the size of the original, it is still synonymous with gigantic things in Japan.
The Great Buddha

The world’s largest bronze statue, 14.7 meters high.
The statue is said to be located at the center of the world in the Kegon sect of Buddhism and symbolizes the macrocosm itself.
The nostril’s hole of the Great Buddha
In the Daibutsuden (Great Buddha Hall), there is a pillar with a hole the same size as the nostril of the Great Buddha.
It is said that if one passes through this hole, he or she will be free from illness and get good health.
Moreover their wishes will come true.
Kasuga Taisha Shrine

Located within walking distance of Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine was built in 768 to pray for the well-being of the Heijo Palace in Nara.
The famous Nara deer are believed to be messengers of the gods and there are approximately 1,400 of them.
Beef steak Lunch

We had lunch at the steak restaurant in Nara city!
Delicious!
Osaka Castle

We went to Osaka Castle park.
Osaka castle was founded 1597 as a samurai castle.
The surrounding area is a biggest park in Osaka full of green and seasonal flowers!
Osaka Castle tower

We climbed up to the Osaka Castle tower.
You can walk up the tower, but we took the elevator.
The tower is 54.8 m high and offers a 360-degree view of the surrounding area.
Dotonbori

The busiest restaurants and shopping street in Japan.
Signs for foodstuffs such as crab, puffer fish, and beef line the streets.
Hozenji Temple

One street inside from Dotonbori, you will enter the quiet Hozenji Yokocho( alley).
The water-hanging Fudo Buddha statue here is always covered with moss as worshippers pour water on it.
How was it?
Why don’t you join us next time?
