We traveled the most popular places in and outside of Kyoto!
1: Tatsumi shrine
It’s a small shrine in Gion Shirakawa. The atmosphere is very pretty.
2:Jikkokubune boat in Okazaki
We got on the sightseeing boat just in front of the Torii gate.
We enjoyed the cherry blossoms along the moat of the shrine.
3:Heian shrine
Heian shrine was founded 1895, this year was the 1100 years memorial day of the starting year 794 .
It’s beautiful with its weeping cherry blossoms this day.
4: Tea ceremony
We enjoyed tea ceremony in the tea house of the shrine.
It’s very elegant!
5: Lunch
We had a lunch YOSHOKU ( Japanese western) restaurant.
OMURICE is very yummy!
6: Incline
Incline is a remain of canal boat railway.
There are a lot of cherry blossoms both sides of the track.
7: Fushimi Inari shrine
Fushimi Inari shrine is founded 705, dedicated to the harvest God.
Foxes are the servants of Gad to help the harvest by eating mouses and insects to prevent the rice harvest.
8:Kiyomizu temple
Kiyomizu temple is founded 778.
It’s popular for it’s great view from the temple veranda and seasonal flowers.
9: Yasakano tou
Yasaka no tou is the 5 storied pagoda just below Kiyomizu temple.
The scenery is very picturesque.
10: Yasaka Shrine
Yasaka Shrine is founded 656.
The shrine is the symbol of Gion district.
There are many cherry blossoms are blooming this period.
