‘OCEAN VIEW MUSEUM’
I visited MOA( Mokichi Okada association) museum in ATAMI 40 minutes bullet train from Tokyo.
It’s a private museum of huge scale located on the hill top of ATAMI ,Shizuoka prefecture.
You go up 60m on the hill by long 7 tunnel escalators to the museum hall . You will surprise this size firstly. On the way to the museum you come across the beautiful projection art in the big hall .
This museum has 3 national treasures and 113 important arts of Japan and Asia .
There are golden tea room , KOUBAI-HAKUBAI ZU ( red and white plum ) painting which are national famous.
The building itself is very modern , clean and fashionable . There are ocean view cafe , restaurants , Japanese garden and bamboo trees area too.
If you go out to the patio garden you can see 180 degrees fantastic panorama view of the ocean.
