Kawayuka is an outdoor seating area set up by riverside restaurants to cool down
to cool off during the hot and humid Kyoto summer.
Ganko sushi, kawayuka
I went to Ganko sushi kawayuka in Kyoto.
They have a huge Japanese garden with giant stone lantern!
It’s incredible!
Kawayuka is along Kamo River which is cooler than inside the restaurant.
We enjoyed delicious sushi-kaiseki dishes this evening.
