Kinosaki Onsen is a local Onsen town in Toyooka City, north of Hyogo Prefecture.

This onsen was discovered in 629 when a stork was healing a wound.

Japanese Samurai ,many authors love this onsen!

It is famous for its cherry blossoms in the spring, autumn leaves in the fall, and tasty crabs in the winter, which also attract travelers.

Also famous for its traditional tour of the seven outside hot springs.

In the past, there were no indoor baths in Ryokan( Japanese hotel).


Even today, the indoor baths in ryokans are regulated and relatively small.

Walk in the town


Willow trees are planted along the Ootani River, and visitors can enjoy a peaceful walk through the town.

From Kinosaki Onsen, we headed back to Tokyo from Kyoto Station.

We had Bento( box lunch )on the bullet train (Shinkansen).
