Okinawa is the southernmost prefecture in Japan.
It is an island prefecture consisting of 160 islands.
39 islands are inhabited.
I’m traveling in the main island of Okinawa, the largest of them all.
Valley of Gangala
I am in a place called the Valley of Gangala which is located in the south of the main island of Okinawa.
This place used to be a coral reef on the ocean button until a few million years ago.
Then it rose up and became land.
The limestone rocks and stream have formed limestone caves.
Cave cafe
If you sign up for a reservation tour and go to the entrance, you will find a cafe called Cave Cafe.
This is a huge cave, with the ceiling and walls filled with countless stalagmites.
The cafe menu includes coffee, tea, and passion fruit juice, all for 400 yen( 4 dollars).
Why don’t you relax in the wildest cafe and enjoy the fantastic view ?
