‘SHUNKA-EN BONSAI MUSEUM ‘
I visited SHUNKAEN BONSAI MUSEUM in Tokyo.
It’s founded 2002 by KUNIO KOBAYASHI , the famous Bonsai artist who won the prime minister’s prize 4 times .
He made the over 100 million yen ( 1 million dollars) Bonsai often.
The museum has Japanese garden with small pond and traditional Japanese house .
There are over 1000 beautiful Bonsai pots in the garden.
The 6 disciples are studying making Bonsai by living with Mr.Kobayashi, the master .
3 of them are from overseas.
You can talk with them.
They are very friendly and explain about Bonsai if you ask .
You can take break and read books of Bonsai at the rest area drinking Japanese tea which served by the museum people.
It takes 25 minutes from Tokyo to Koiwa station, 15 minutes bus to the KEIYOUGUCHI stop near the museum.
The entrance fee is 800 yen ( 8 dollars) , you can take photos freely!
