Tokyo 1-Day tour!Hachiko faithful dog, Shibuya Crossing, Namiyoke shrine, Tsukiji market, lunch, Asakusa Sensoji temple,Tokyo Skytree Solamachi town, Akihabara, 1-day tour from old and new!
Hi I’m Nobu, I like traveling overseas and in Japan, visited 28 countries!
I’m a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter of English for 11 years.
For the people who are interested in and planning trip to Japan ,
I show you hidden local information which you have never seen and heard of through books and ordinary site!
You will find unexpected fun through my articles!
Our itinerary is below!
Hachiko
A dog that waited for his passed away master every day for 10 years.
Now it is a meeting place for everyone.
Shibuya Crossing
The busiest crossing in the world.
At times, 3,000 people cross at a single traffic light.
We posed in the middle of the intersection!
Namiyoke Shrine
This shrine was founded 1657 to pray for the safety of the construction of Tsukiji area.
Tsukiji area was a coast before 1657.
The Great Edo Fire of 1657 burned down Edo.
During that time, the reclamation project was repeatedly hindered by accidents caused by the waves.
One day, many people saw a bright white fireball on the reclaimed sea.
People wondered about it and built this Namiyoshi Shrine to pray to the fireball.
After that, no accidents occurred and the Tsukiji landfill was completed.
Even today, people come here to pray for safety at sea and safety in their homes.
Tsukiji Outside Market
Tsukiji Outside Market is the kitchen of Tokyo and is usually visited by Tokyoites.
You can enjoy the lively atmosphere of a traditional market.
There are more than 460 stores selling fish, produce, meat, dried foods, seasonings, cooking utensils, restaurants, etc., and the market is always crowded with people.
You should visit here in the morning hours.
Business hours are from 5:00 to 14:00.
Closed on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Lunch
We ate lunch at the local Sushi restaurant!
Yummy!
Sensoji Temple, Asakusa
Sensoji Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo, was founded in 628.
The red lanterns of the Kaminarimon gate have become a symbol of Tokyo.
The traditional Nakamise shopping street has many stores where you can buy all kinds of Japanese souvenirs.
The Nakamise shopping street and the sightseeing guide rickshaw service, preserve the atmosphere of Tokyo in the old days.
Tokyo Skytree Solamachi town
Tokyo Skytree is 634m the tallest independent tower in the world.
There are 250 restaurants and stores at the base.
Akihabara
Our final destination was Akihabara.
It’s was originally the electric gadgets and parts town after WW2.
But it’s very popular gaming, anime ,manga and Otaku ( nerd) culture!!
We enjoyed retro arcade games so much!!
How was it?
Why don’t you try next chance?
I’m Nobu , one heart enjoy together!!
