Less traveled Cherry Blossom Spot next to Tokyo Skytree, Sumida Park!
I’m Nobu, I like traveling overseas and in Japan, visited 25 countries. I’ve got the license of the certificate English guide in Japan for 8 years.
I show you hidden Japan which you have never seen and heard of!
Sumida Park
Sumida Park is located on both sides of the Sumida River and is a place for citizens to relax and enjoy the view of the Sumida River and Tokyo Skytree.
It is sandwiched between Sensoji Temple in Asakusa and Tokyo Sky Tree, so it may not be a place for foreign tourists to visit.
However, in 2020, the Sumida River Walk was built.
It’s a bridge spanning Sumida Park on both the east and west sides of the river.
This bridge allow pedestrians and bicycles to be pushed across.
Sumida Park Tokyo Skutree side
On the Tokyo Skytree side of Sumida Park, there is a large lawn area where many families and friends were enjoying cherry blossom viewing.
There is also a Japanese garden with many cherry trees planted around a pond.
Modern and traditional
It provides a wonderful contrast between the modern Tokyo Sky Tree and the traditional Japanese garden.
Why don’t you come and enjoy the relaxation that only Tokyo can offer?
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
